Very fine and rare Waltham 18K gold 16/S Premier Maximus winding indicator antique pocket watch circa 1908. Fine white quadruple sunk enamel dial (slight scratch in seconds dial) with black markings and blued steel hands. Heavy plain polish case. Beautiful 23 jewel movement with diamond cap jewels, gold escutcheons, and screwed gold jewel settings.
The Premier Maximums was introduced in 1908 as Waltham's highest quality and most expensive timepiece and this is a particularly fine example.
