Fine large German silver pair case verge and fusee by Rugendas, (probably Nicolas Rugendas III) Augsburg, circa 1720. Fine repousee silver dial with crowned figures holding a candle and a sword. Brass outer case (rubbed) painted to simulate horn. Wonderful gilt movement with wheel-form balance cock, the the foot and regulator plate pierced and engraved. Fancy pillars.
