Fine English silver repousse pair case verge and fusee antique calendar pocket watch
made for the Dutch market signed John Wilter, London, circa 1760
Beautiful champleve dial with arcaded minute chapter, gold rondelles between the numbers,
the center pierced and engraved with birds and foliage against a blued steel background and
with calendar aperture below. The outer case with a palace scene, with the facial
details still clear, signed Cochin. Hinge repair inside the outer case. Fine verge and fusee movement with large delicately and
asymmetrically pierced and engraved double-footed cock and regulator plate. Excellent
example.
