Fine, beautiful and rare English gem set 18K gold pair case quarter hour bell repeater antique
pocket watch by Jn. Magson, London, circa 1750.
The back and bezel of the outer case set with semi-precious brilliants, possibly white sapphires, a few replaced
with rhinestones. Cobalt blue dial with gold markings and fancy gold hands.
The inner case with pierced and engraved scrolling foliage. The cock, foot,and regulator
plate also with pierced and engraved foliage. Movement catch disabled.
When the pendant is depressed this watch chimes the hours and quarters on the bell with
loud and clear tones.
