Fine and scarce continental 18K gold musical quarter repeater antique pocket
watch circa 1810.
White enamel dial (fully restored) with blued steel hands. Engine turned case
with slide in the coin milled band to play the music at will.
Gilt movement with engraved foot to the balance cock and the repeat works visible
on the back. Lever protruding from the edge of the dial to have the music play
automatically on the hour. Good musical tone.
When the pendant is depressed this watch chimes the hours and quarters
with two different tones.
