Paltry Bell Repeater
Fine midsize multi-color French 18K gold verge and fusee bell repeater by
Paltry, circa 1780.
White enamel dial (repairs and cracks) with later fancy gold hands.
The case with engine turned back with decorations in various colors of gold.
The movement with lovely large pierced and engraved balance cock.
When the pendant is depressed this watch chimes the hours and quarters
on a bell in the back of the case. Lovely bell chime.
