Fine 14K Swiss gold hunting case minute repeater chronograph by E. Mathey
circa 1890.
Substantial engine turned case with slide in the band to activate the repeater and
button to activate the chronograph.
Double sunk white enamel dial (short clean hairline) with red and black numerals and blued steel hands.
Nickel 17 jewel 4 adjustment movement with the chronograph works visible
on the back.
When activated, this watch chimes the exact time using different chime tones to
designate the hours, quarter hours, and minutes. Loud clear tone.
