Johnson Triple Case Turkish
Large and impressive English triple case verge and fusee antique pocket watch for
the Turkish market by William Johnson, London, circa 1803.
The outer case covered in tortoise shell with pin decoration, with small cracks and
chips, and missing some pins.
White enamel dial with blued steel beetle and poker hands, with faint
hairlines and restored center hole chip.
The balance cock pierced and engraved with the maker's initials and a Turkish symbol,
the foot and regulator plate also pierced and engraved. Fancy pillars.
