Fine and beautiful Virgin Mary 18K gold, painted enamel and diamond Swiss antique
pocket or pendant watch with fancy movement, original tortoise shell box and
spare dial by Frederick Courvoisier circa 1860.
The covers with lovely engraved borders, the front with a painted enamel scene of
the Virgin Mary with angels. The back with cobalt blue enamel over engine turning with
gold designs and set with diamonds. Small repairs to both covers.
White enamel dial with blued steel hands, one a replacement.
The gilt 15 jewel movement with artistically shaped plates and some wear to the
regulator scale. Original fitted tortoise shell case with fancy spare dial.
