Good German 14K gold Assman, Glashütte hunting case antique pocket
watch circa 1890.
Plain polish case. Double sunk white enamel dial with fancy gold hands.
Gilt 3/4 plate 16 jewel movement with precision regulator.
In 1850 Julius Assman went to work for Lange and 5 years later
started his own business.
Assman produced watches in the Glashütte tradition of 3/4 plate movements,
and like this one, they were often very similar in design to A. Lange watches
