Very fine Dutch 20K gold repousee pair case verge and fusee antique
pocket watch for the English market signed Williamson, London, circa 1782.
The outer case with an allegorical scene with only the slightest wear.
White enamel dial with arcaded minute chapter and particularly fancy gold hands.
Dutch style double footed pierced end engraved balance cock and the regulator plate
also pierced and engraved. High karat gold is very soft, and watches like this one
usually show considerable wear on the high points. Excellent example.
