Fine English freesprung helical hairspring pocket chronometer by John Pool, London, circa 1873. Fine white enamel dial with winding indicator. Engine turned case. Gilt half-plate spring detent movement with diamond cap. Pool was a celebrated maker producing a small number of pocket chronometers. This example is in particularly fine condition throughout.
