Engine turned hunting case. White enamel dial with black markings and blued
steel hands. The dust cover with an ornately embellished monogram.
Fine adjusted 18 jewel nickel movement with wolf's tooth winding,
"moustache" counterpoised pallet fork and precision regulator.
Jeannot & Shiebler, whose 'J' superimposed over an 'S' 18K and 14K trade marks
are easily recognized, was a well-respected manufacturer of first quality solid gold
watch cases in New York City. Numerous movements that were sold by Patek
factory without cases are found in their original JS cases.
