Fine and unusual Bovet painted enamel, pearl and silver gilt antique pocket watch for
the Chinese market circa 1850.
The case back with a lovely painted enamel portrait of a lady against a blue enamel
background over engine turning, the painting highlighted by colored foil incorporated
in the design. Fine white enamel dial with blued steel hands.
Beautifuly engraved 15 jewel movement with decorated counterpoised lever.
A most attractive example in unusually fine condition.
