Fine English silver and tortoise shell triple case antique verge and fusee pocket watch for
the Turkish Market by Marwick Markham Perigal, London, circa 1817.
White enamel dial (hairline and filled chip at "6") with blued steel beetle and poker hands.
The outer case in silver rather than the usual brass, covered with tortoise shell
attached by decorative pin work, none of the pins missing.
Fine large pierced and engraved balance cock with streamers, the foot and regulator
plate also pierced and engraved. Elaborate pierced and filigree pillars.
Handsome example.
