Fine gold engine turned dial (tiny ding) with blued steel hands. Engine turned case
with solid gold dust cover.
Fine gilt full plate 7 jewel movement with ruby cylinder escapement, temperature compensation
curb, and parachute shockproofing.
When the pendant is depressed, this watch chimes the exact time using different loud and clear
chime tones to designate the hours and quarter hours.
Aesthetically the case and dial look like the typical verge and fusee from this period. The ruby
cylinder, compensation and shoclkproofing as well and the shape of the cock point to the
bridge movements that were soon to become the norm.
