Very fine and extremely rare Movado nickel lever deck Chronometer de Bord in gimbaled desk stand
fitted with a mirror to view the balance through a glazed aperture. Circa 1928.
This watch was especially made for timing contests and is one of the most
accurate mechanical watches ever produced, awarded 96 points at the Kew Observatory, and first in it's class.
Original matte silvered dial with black markings, up and down indicator, and blued steel hands.
Gilt 3/4 plate 21 jewel 10 adjustment calibre 355 movement with oversize Guillaume balance with
gold screws and diamond cap jewel. The hairspring with double Phillips terminal curves.

the time trials
