watch with unusual engraved inner case by Richard Colston, London, circa 1690.
The outer case with pinned shagreen in unusually fine condition.
Lovely gold dial with decorated center and blued steel beetle and poker hands.
The inner case beautifully engrave with scrolling foliage in a design reminiscent of
bracket clocks from this period. The movement with a beautifully pierced and engraved
cock with asymmetrical foot and very fancy pierced pillars.
